i'd love to get my earlobes pierced some day but i'm just so scared of the progress... i'm VERY afraid of sharp stuff and getting impaled and that applies to piercing too </3 i'm also afraid if it causes too much pain lol. i'm a bit of coward for this @_@

Septum piercings look so cool! I had mine done a few years ago, just after the pandemic calmed down and loved it, but ended up taking it out since it wouldn't heal properly. :(
Maybe one day I'll get it done again when I get the itch for another piercing.

My most recent piercing was a third lobe piercing, done to sit right inbetween a part of the tattoo I got on my ear. The tattoo itself is four little lines in each cardinal direction so with the jewellery in the centre, it sort of looks like a star. It was a bit difficult to heal since it constantly caught on my other lobe piercings below it. It's on its way to being fully healed though!

I wouldn't mind getting my lip done, but I bite my lips a lot so healing will be a nightmare.

I have my ears pierced and stretched to a 2g (and actively stretching them idk my goal size....just BIG), my septum is pierced and stretched to a 14g (originally 16g, im actively stretching it as well, but the recommended time to wait in between stretches is 6-8 months rip), and both sides of my nose pierced as well. I DESPERATELYYYYY want snake bites and to get a whole bunch of other piercings in my ears but i havent gotten around to it yet.

Also to anyone who wants a septum but is afraid of the pain: it was my easiest piercing and it was more uncomfortable when they put the jewelry in and, even so, it lasts for like a second. I know everyone's body and pain tolerance is different, but i just find it weird that this piercing in particular seems to have a reputation for hurting really bad when in my experience, getting both sides of my nose done hurt WAY WORSE AND IT LITERALLY HURTS EVERYTIME YOUR NOSE FLARES WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS??????!!!! Thank god mine are healed now

Anyways basically like if you really want a piercing but you're too afraid to get it, just do it you wont regret it.

Thank god mine are healed now [/quote] can confirm the “avoid a septum piercing, its gonna hurt like hell.” where they end up being wrong. The piercing itself and then the insertion of the jewelry has been the worst so far since I got the thing done roughly 2 days ago, and ive been catching it on stuff left and right(including my own hand and a beach towel for crying out loud lmao)

I've always wanted snake bites but I hear they're actually super annoying.

I love piercings! :) They are so cool. Unfortunately I have had poor luck with mine. I've had my ears pierced three times! (No, it's not as cool as it sounds sadly lol.)

First, when I was a baby, but my mom took them out because she was worried I'd pull them or swallow them, so it completely healed up.

Second, when I was 13 or so. They got infected and I had to take them out, and that completely healed up.

LASTLY, I went just a couple years ago to a professional piercing shop and had them pierced with a needle and everything was going absolutely fabulous, I loved it so much... and then I decided to switch them in October to another pair for Halloween, (got them put in in June of that year I believe, so they had only been in 4 months).

Well. That really irritated them. So I put my studs back in, and waited and waited, then I tried to switch them AGAIN around Christmas time and I learned two important things:

1. My ears become inflamed very easily and take longer to heal
2. I have thicker than average earlobes, a lot of earrings have too short of a post for me to wear comfortably.

Pair that with the swelling and overnight my piercings holes rejected the newer earrings and completely sealed back shut and healed back up. (: I was so disheartened that I have yet to get them repierced, BUT I really want to, so I probably will again soon, but I'm kind of embrassed that I screwed it up the last time.

And!! I would totally have a nose piercing if it wasn't for my stupid allergies.

I just have my ears pierced, I've always wanted a septum and snake bites/shark bites but I worry that sensory issues will stop me from getting any on my face. I plan to get some more in my lobes or a helix over the summer.
