Dragon Share

[font=Century]Vague prompt, I'm aware, but I'm in the mood to see some serendipitous occurrences. Dragons you came to find by happy chance, by being in the right place at the right time. Whatever serendipity might mean to you in this context. If you think it fits the prompt, it probably does. I'd love to see whatever you have to share. I feel like I show this fellow off too often, but Eyes here is a good example for me. I was depositing some scries in [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/2865594#post_2865594]the scryin' cheap ah gen1s thread[/url], not shopping, and just happened to see him in another user's post when I was scrolling up to leave. Just a bit of good luck. He's one of my favorite dragons, and I'd likely not have him if I hadn't clicked into that thread that day. Your turn, if you would be so kind? On the day of the 2022 e3 green comet being visible, a very kind user and I exchanged eggs for good luck, and to my delight, Nico was hatched with both a green primary and secondary! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/92340916][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/923410/92340916_350.png[/img][/url] for me, i'd say prominence here was a little serendipitous. i'd come across a different dragon being sold, but someone beat me to it while i was messing with a potential scry and outfit. i was content to delete the plans and move on, as i wasn't really interested in dwelling on what could have been and just hoping to find a replacement g1 someday... but i saw this guy being advertised on tumblr and realized he actually fits really well with what i'd planned for the other dragon!

OMG... The purple accents in both the wings and in the primary??? That is such a serendipitous find! 25g for such a gem is a steal. Cirrus here is the first dragon that came to mind as a serendipitous dragon, and I still can't believe I have her. I clicked on a mass hatch thread and scried a few hatches as I followed along. I absolutely fell in love with her colors (sky/cornflower/ultramarine), and the OP was very generous and gifted her to me for free! She is in my top 3 favorite dragons of all time... I just love looking at her because it's just like looking up into the sky, and I think the smoke tertiary looks like wind pushing the clouds across her. I can't bear to dress her and cover it up!

I stumbled upon Cricket and clicked him because one of my cat's names is Cricket. Then, I saw the birthday was my birthday (January 18)! It thought it was such a fun coincidence, I had to buy him.

wow there are some beautiful dragons on this thread....... everyone got likes!!! My serendipitous fine was Glow! He was super cheap only like 20g if I recall and gened up beautifully. I found him the same week light had dom so I was able to gene him up pretty easily and I had just purchase accent I had fallen in love but had no dragon to wear it. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/42579691][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/425797/42579691_350.png[/img][/url] He was posted in someone else’s “find a dragon” thread, and I was looking to see if I had anything that could qualify. The person who offered him (again, not to me) said that they were almost 6 years old, and me, liking old dragons, decided to go look at him. Somehow, by the luck of fate, he hatched the exact day and year that is my partner and i’s anniversary! I messaged the seller on the thread, and said that if the person who posted originally didn’t want him, then I did! The owner said I could have him, and I welcomed him to my lair! It was so cool, and amazing that I stumbled across him when I wasn’t even looking, in a place I wasn’t meant to be!

I was browsing random threads and the original owner was showing him off for unrelated reasons. I thought he looked striking and he happened to be for sale! Just looks so cool.
