I like the scry you made! The only thing that distracts me is the blue ear, but ultimately I'd say it's worth it.

I totally just realized I could have saved the egg for tomorrow (13th), oh well.

Definitely don't scatter unless you're really attached to that dragon in particular or just want a scatter journey for its own sake; that's even more expensive than buying a new egg to hatch! If you're worried about the price of the scry, maybe try other genes?
