Almost missed this wonderful little thread, in this broad, beautiful desert of a Forum, but Hello, Night Vale! :D What did you think of the very newest episode, number 33? I was intrigued; it sounded like there was a wonderful friendly hug at the end, don't you think? And oh, episode 32 - I just adore those beautiful yellow helicopters and can't wait to see where they pop up next!
Now, listen. I really do want to sit and chat - it is so hard to find good company these days! - but I really must be going. I will try not to be long. Hopefully this thread will spring back to life!

I'm so excited for Strex. But I can't tell from skimming the last page whether spoilerchat is kosher, so I won't start shouting about things that are too specific.

i'm... it's been a real fun and interesting ride listening to the podcast, especially since i get kind of exasperated with how much the very particular genre of scifi/fantasy horror can milk the tropes and ideas for all they're worth. the show has grown into its shoes very well and i'm happy with the direction it's gone. it's already a great piece of work!
th o s e t a p e s t h o :S that last episode was, in my mind, the scariest one yet, simply because it wasn't 'will we come back after the break? find out after the weather?' but something far more profound and with a totally different meaning all together.
super intrigue, guys, with as little spoilers as i can give (im just super dang excited and thrilled it was written that way ahhh).

*gnaws gently on this thread* so, who will you vote for as mayor--Hiram McDaniels, or The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your Home? I have to admit that TFOWWSLIYH's platform seems solid, and I think she has a good civic plan--but it's so hard to deny the charisma of a five-headed dragon!
of course all question of who the mayor might be is completely pointless, as we all know the next mayor will be a StrexCorp robot
