the demo is now functional for me and oh my goodness it looks gorgeous!! I've already gotten some really interesting color combos and they all look great!

Ok, it's been a day since the demo dropped and now that its mostly stable I can say that I really really like it! I do feel a bit disappointed by the dynamic undercoat change, but we've heard word from the devs they're gonna go back to the drawing board a bit for that one. But yeah, everything else is great! I love the layout of the demo, I like how easy it is to use on mobile, and the art is just incredible to look at.
Another big plus of the demo is that its completely soothed any and all concerns I have about the massive change to the color and breeding system. Most kits generated with it are pretty nice! Sure there's combos that aren't super pretty, but that's how it goes with any big ranges. It feels much more manageable to fine tune pairs into producing nice ranges. The only negative I can even think of is that it's kind of impossible to make pairs that'll produce just clones, but I was never big on making clone pairs.
Anyways, I don't know what else to say I'm kinda tired lol. I haven't settled on new founder designs since I'm waiting to see how things change, but I made some fancats!

finally got the time to mess around with the new demo and oh my god it is INCREDIBLE. aside from some jank with the dynamic color thing (which i expected) i'm amazed by how polished it is. i can already tell it's take me forever to design my founders
