Sayla The dev team has said that it’s a bug to be purchasable at 300 tokens and it’s an AAP emote only and can only be obtained with the AAP. There’s been a lot of complaints about people “purchasing” the tokens to buy it and then not actually being able to buy the emote because it gives them an error.

princeteru Holy yikes, thank you for the heads up! I was planning on buying some tokens to get the emote later, that would have sucked to get an error after spending the money. ;-; I think I'll just pass on the emote then unless they decide to add anything else to the aap since that's the only thing I'd want from the whole package. :c

the d.va short was amazing!! i'm so glad we finally got a bit of lore for her :,D

Well, here's (mostly) everything that we could learn from the new D.va animated short: Shooting Star!
- D.va is aware of and understands her status as a propaganda idol
- D.vas (the Overwatch equivalent of Doritos) are shaped like pixel hearts!
- D.va is willing to die for her country if need be
- D.va's assistant is her childhood friend, Dae Hyun
- D.va works with four other MEKA pilots, Jae-Eun (Casino), Yuna (D.mon), Kyung-Soo (King), and Seung-Hwa (Overlord)
- D.va's pink makeup whiskers conceal a scar on her face
- D.va did briefly die, as a doctor had to use a defibrillator to restart her heartbeat
And some stuff from Michael Chu on Twitter...
- The commanding officer of D.va's MEKA squadron is Captain Myung, and you can hear her voice over the comms on the MEKA Base portion of the new Busan control map
- Dae Hyun is a mechanic specifically assigned to D.va and no one else
- The name of D.va's mech is Tokki. As for the rest of her MEKA squadron... Casino's mech is La Princesse Sereine, D.mon's mech is Beast, King's mech is Singijeon, and Overlord's mech is Mastermind.
- The term that they use to refer to the massive Omnic threat off the coast of South Korea is Gwishin, though it might just be a misspelling of gwisin. Gwisin is a general term for ghosts in Korea. Especially strong gwisin don't go to the underground world and in turn gain strength over time, perhaps referencing how the Omnic is never defeated, only forced back to the ocean, but eventually returns stronger than before.
- D.va and D.mon were on the same eSports team prior to being recruited to MEKA, which is why their handles are similar.
- D.mon is not related to D.va. D.mon's last name is Lee.

Doomfist... Ah, Doomfist. Incredibly one of the easiest, hard CC characters in the game. He's such a cheesy stun hero it actually drives me mad to go up against him. People complain about Brig, but honestly, Doom is worse.
