I'm still here! I joined in 2014, and part of me still really misses welcome weeks!
I just BARELY missed the kickstarter (still kicking myself for that!) and it took about a year before a registration window lined up with me remembering FR existed, but I'm so glad I got in when I did! I've been here off and on over the years, sometimes I take a break, but I keep coming back.
FR's my comfort game, I'm glad it's still here and I love seeing new folks pop in!

Looks like I joined up on the exact same day as this thread's OP, wild to think we used to be stuck in limited joining windows! Amazed I've managed to sustain it for so many years. I feel very old.

7 years is quite some time, and I've never been on hiatus - in fact, I never even took a small break. I just LOVE this site.

I remember when welcome weeks were introduced! Before it was reg windows that popped up randomly, only 24 hour windows when I joined

It's kinda wild. I think, other than vacations, I've logged in every day for the past 9 years, if only to do my daily gathering and nesting.
I've definitely slowed down on a lot of things like buying dragons and posting but FR is a bit of a comforting habit. Just something nice and steady.

It's funny; I joined in 2015, and I've never really considered myself an "old" player, but thinking back...I joined prior to "Welcome Weeks" back when we just had registration windows every few months. Crystal and Facet were new genes, etc.
But it's odd to think I joined FR only two years after its launch and it's approaching its 10th year.
