As with all genes Crystal/Facet can look amazing on the right dragon. I don't personally own or have plans to own a Crystal/Facet dragon but who knows maybe I will some day

I'll be honest - I really am not a huge fan of crystal and facet. However, when I find dragons that I like with either/both genes, I [i]really[/i] like them! Crystal and facet are actually the most commonly found primary and secondary genes among my permas. (Also crackle lol. And facet is technically tied with shimmer.) Most of that can be traced back to my subspecies haha I actually started FR back when cryface was all the rage. How the mighty have fallen [emoji=ridgeback sad size=1]

It's reaaally situational for me. For example, I love that coatl scry but I'm not a fan of the other two. I'm a big fan of the two genes on skydancers for some reason, but I haven't found another breed with either that I like. Fun fact(ish): Cry/face used to be THE genes to have back in the day because they were essentially the only shiny genes out there. When I first joined (april 2015) I remember them being super expensive. I don't know when exactly they were released but they were still really popular it seemed. Eventually, they over-saturated the market and people were getting sick of it at one point. I remember my first month in, I bought a cry/face gal for 500 gems. Yep, you read that right; 500 gems! And I still have her: [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=11544911] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/115450/11544911_350.png[/img] [/url] Still the same exact genes. I can't see her in any other gene because otherwise it would just feel weird to me. I still have a few others with crystal and/or facet. They're lovely genes when done right. Just like any other gene.~
