TOPIC | Surprise Boxes !
When Box 1 is opened…
You open the box to find four lovely hats neatly wrapped in tissue paper. Their fabric is soft and new– perhaps they were recently made!
[Item=Refined Highnoon Brimmer] [Item=Sweetheart Lace Headpiece] [Item=Navy Plaid Cabbie] + a Poet’s Tam that did not show up as a widget ;0; @Swiftstrike5
When box 2 is opened….
After a bit of delicate opening, you peer into the box to find that it’s bigger on the inside. A dragon flies out from the bottom with a mouthful of trinkets, landing in front of you and dropping them all to the ground with a loud *CLANG*! Your new friend apparently really likes shiny things!

When box 3 is opened…
Upon whipping off the blanket, you find a small collection of food awaiting- perfect for a picnic, a party, or just for snacking on!

You are trudging through a swamp, and a guardian pops out and offers you three boxes
Box one looks like it was covered in swamp water and drowned at the bottom of the bog for years. There is seaweed and kelp all over it.
Box two is a wooden crate with purple runes that you cant really read. It looks sleek and untouched, and around its seams, it has a faint glow
Box three is in an odd blue cone shape, and has a screen textured overlay that doesnt allow bugs in. There is a bliue felt layer under it.
(if its been a bit since the last box has been opened, dw, i will get to it! im pretty busy :D)

@AngelOfTheEast as you open the swampy box , dirty water filters out, and a low groan comes from the creature inside.

@Zhephyre You frantically flip the lid and a dragon jumps out an grapples you, yelling “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!”

@BeansGalore you take the screen film off the cone and butterflies swarm your face. You chase them around in glee for a few minutes and you feel so much happier afterwards.

You walk along a vine covered path made of old, yellowed bricks, worn by time. Ruined structures lay alongside the path, and most buildings are dilapidated, except for, you notice, a small, eerie cottage a bit farther off the trail. Curious, you decide to enter it, and begin poking around.
In the first room appears to be some sort of living space, and on an old, moulding table you see the first box. It is made of a light coloured wood, and is painted with moss. On the lid, a small bird is carved. Interesting.
After carefully inspecting the first box, you move into the kitchen area of the house. It has old, granite countertops (something you did not expect to see in a cottage such as this), and dark cabinets underneath, and hung on the walls. Peaking into one of the wall cabinets, you find a second box. It's small and rectangular, and it almost looks like it could be a music box. For now, you decide to leave it be and move on.
You consider venturing into the bedroom, but despite having poked around plenty elsewhere, that feels like a bit too invasive, and so you make your way out into the garden instead. Unlike the rest of the cottage, it feels bright out here, and the way ivy trellises around everything gives it an almost magical air. On a rocky patio sits a small glass table, and two chairs, and when you take a closer look you see the third box. It is a hatbox, as far as you can tell, and it looks hand-painted.
Looking around the yard, your curiosity is peaked and you feel you ought to open at least one of the boxes.
So, which box do you choose to open?
