Childhood

This dragon is a celebration of the childhood I never got to have - when I was a child that is.
Is it fair to say I'm having it now? After I'm arguably grown? I don't know if that matters.

All I do know is this: never let anyone tell you you're too old for toys, doodling, cartoons, or anything else
that brings you innocent joy.

Whimsy doesn't abandon you when you hit the "expiration date"! Society wants to force you to leave it. Don't listen!
Now... don't be childish and immature, in the sense of being selfish and whiny. Be childlike in the sense of being happy, and seeing the good in everyone you meet!

I named his page Childhood, but his real name is Starbaby.
He likes to fingerpaint, and long, warm hugs, so he's lucky to have so many arms and legs!!
He also has a habit of licking people, so maybe don't hold him too close to your face...
And don't let him eat too much candy! He'll tell you that's his kind's natural diet, but that's a lie!

As for what "his kind" is, Starbaby is the physical manifestation of the wish to go back to being a child.
Once a wish turns into a dragon, it cannot be granted, but that's why the stars do it! Aging backwards in the literal sense would be a disaster. But having him visit you, even for a minute, will help with the underlying desire. To be free and joyful again, or perhaps, for the first time...
