Jhaspire

Born poor, he worked since he was a child. As soon as he was old enough, he enlisted to become a soldier. His work ethic plus natural talent moved him through the ranks quickly. He traveled to many places and fought many kinds of enemies. He is highly trained in many forms of combat, including martial arts and has been hired by the clan to be the protector. He will defend anyone that needs defending. Without fail.

Jhaspire is very protective of Tyrix, especially. The Wind Fae is his best friend and he knows he has a habit of getting himself into tough situations. He tends to over-worry about him though, and often scolds him for getting into the fights he gets into--considering he's just a small Fae. The two of them originally bonded over drinks one night but now they get along perfectly naturally. Tyrix often takes Jhaspire along with him to parties, much to Jhaspire's chagrin. He doesn't like to fight unless it's necessary, and it's so often necessary around Tyrix--who is really great at stirring the pot.

Tyrix aside, he also has a very strong bond with Terra, the Arcane Fae "teacher" of the clan. They courted for a short while but it didn't stick. Nevertheless, the two are very fond of the other and he loves getting into long discussions with her.

He eventually fell for Magick, an Arcane Skydancer who was born in the clan. He met her through Eleai, Tyrix's Light Mirror mate. He was worried about Tyrix who was going to a party by himself that he couldn't accompany him to because he had to watch the clan while Vixen, Shadowclaw, and Twilight were battling in the Coliseum. So he inevitably sought out Eleai and apologetically asked her if she could go with Tyrix to make sure he kept out of trouble. She had to close up her tapestry shop early to do so, but reassured him it was no worry. Magick often danced near her stall and helped the two of them close up then decided to keep Jhaspire company. They'd known each other as acquaintances, but after that night, they acknowledged they were certainly more than that. He'd always sorta fancied her but was too shy to say anything; certain to focus on his job rather than his romantic interests. But she wasn't afraid to tell him exactly how she felt about him. And so the two are mates now.
