Biography
Character
Biography
An overseer female that has had a turbulent start to life. Born practically an orphan with two parents barely looking after her, her biggest role model was always her teacher. She took her teacher's teaching extremely seriously, so when she first went exploring another world she was almost always on the hunt for seedling scum. So when she inevitably first saw a seedling, she immediately attacked, getting badly hurt for her rash rushing. Crippled and weak, she was constantly jealous of the younger 'seers who were allowed to go explore, who'd return the favour by picking on her. But once she recovered, she couldn't stop trying to continue her work. She's been hopping different worlds trying to finally explore somewhere she wouldn't get barred from - either because of health concerns, the need for top-notch explorers, or a past escapade that she ruined. This is how she was eventually assigned to Sornieth, where she currently works. Unfortunately, it appears as if she may stay forever, as a native dragon called Torque has taken her as her 'charge'. Torque knows a little of her secret, having seen Peykirau's true form, where Peyk takes care not to spare the details of her homeworld. Peykirau knows she's messed up, but this is the first job she's had in a long time. Until she can't hide Torque's involvement, she'll continue to do so, holding onto this one very important job. |

"...I looked at the purple mith and shrugged. What damage could this dinky thing do? I looked at it, ready to impose my will.
'Right, we have a deal then? You distract Torque every time I need to talk to my friends, I give you food. Ay?' The mith looked at me eagerly. It looked like it had experience. But after looking at me briefly, its antennae lowered, clearly worried. 'You are weak. I an outcast. Must you separate yourself from your protection?' the poor mith muttered. I rebounded, 'I've already explained the situation. My conversations with my friend group, most of them, are private. Nobody except me should see it.' I took out a dagger from my band, and presented it. 'I throw this at nothing, you're up. Don't stop until I retrieve it, ay?' Finally, the mith gave in. 'Ay.' |
In his colony - and to be frank, all of beastclan kind - he's notorious for weaponising silk dangerously, from his time scouring the Silk-Strewn Wreckage. It got to the point where he was banned from partaking in silk-collection by his elder - but the damage just kept on coming - eventually he was sentenced to 6 Mith-years of exile.
True Identity
Diary
Peykirau emerged from the portal, looking around in wonder. This was Sornieth. Her new romping grounds. She looked at her surroundings, a cramped cave, almost corridor-like, haphazardly expanded into a small room. In one corner, a few bare essentials lay, in another, the leader of the expedition Whytora sat consulting a wall-made chalkboard. Judging by his normal appearance, it was night.
It took a while for the head to notice her presence. But breaking his gaze from the board he was crafting, he makes eye-contact with the young seer. Whytora drops the chalk, walking toward Peykirau in a gesture of greeting. With a nod, he says: "Ah, Peykirau, you're here. Very good."
Peykirau sneers at him subtly, trying to hold back anger. "I should expect so. What's happening?"
Whytora turns back to the board, keeping his back pair of eyes focused on Peyk."Take your time, kiddo. You just got here. All you are required to know is that we're directly connected to a dragon village of sorts. Be cautious when you're looking around."
