  • Firstborn of Nakara and Katelyn. He grew up with his parents in relative isolation, learning how to get by with few resources in the desolate Wasteland.
  • Once independent, he left the care of his folks in search of glory and adventure. The young mirror joined up with a mirror pack.
  • Unfortunately, his forays would be cut short as he contracted a parasitic fungus that nearly claimed his life.
  • He was saved by the necromancer Anastasyi, who stopped the progress of the disease. However, the parasite had already burrowed too deep into Volcen's body and could not be removed. The range of motion of his front limbs and wings is very limited and he is unable to run or fly effectively.
  • He briefly returned to live with his parents, but soon met two travelling traders - Rallis and Cree. Volcen joined them to still experience the world, albeit at a slower pace.
  • Volcen struggles with self-worth. He views himself as too weak to have survived the Wasteland and a failure of a Plague mirror.
  • He is also quite withdrawn, a disposition he most likely inherited from his upbringing. He keeps his troubles to himself and doesn't trust others with his true emotions often.
  • Perhaps he will learn to accept himself and open up on his future journeys...
