Mekzalimuo

Mekzalimuo and his noble steed, Bows, are both the result of a mad serthis alchemist's experiments with making animals out of plants. That guy's not around anymore, because even wee little veilspun are creatures of pride and magical prowess and, well, nothing good could have come out of making a scorpion the size of a donkey. Really, he had it coming, with his hubris and irritating sense of theatrics. (That's why Bows is named Bows - get it? He made the mad scientist bow out of, you know. Living.

ANYWAY, Mekzalimuo's got a knack for tracking magic and Bows is a scorpion the size of a donkey with venom sacs to match, so they ride around the seaward end of Carrion Canyon fighting monsters, fighting crime, and flirting with anything that can talk back, though Mekzalimuo's one true love is a pretty, prickly little gal in Drumhopper with lots of eyes to get lost in. He is an awful little cowboy.

I will probably never make a subspecies thread, but in my head Mekzalimuo is part of a subspecies called Awakened Cacti, which are exactly what it sounds like they are.
