Biography

What's that snake?
Don't mind me. I just love snakes and randomly decided to go and identify all the species present in FR items.

Apparel
These are all pretty simple. They are directly named after the species they are based on!
Green Tree Python Ball Python Red-Tailed Boa Corn Snake Rattle Snake

Food
Onyx Cobra Opal Cobra
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Could be any Cobra species. The Opal Cobra could be based on leucism, which is a mutation that turns an animal completly white.
Emerald Striker Amethyst Striker
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Blue Racer Amelanistic Racer
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Racer Snakes
Coral Snake Olive Sea Snake
Dust Slither Emerald Ratsnake
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

This is an interesting bunch because the species they're based on don't really have much in common.

Based on each of their descriptions:
Coral Snake: Coral Snake
Olive Sea Snake: Olive Headed Sea Snake
Dust Slither: Sidewinder
Emerald Ratsnake: Ratsnake
Bluebite Rattler Banded Rattlesnake
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Rattlesnakes. If I were to narrow it down: Timber Rattlesnake
Coiled Burnserpent Writhing Treesnake
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Could be corn snakes, like the enemies they drop from, but could also be inspired by various tree snakes.

Familiars
Swallowtail Buttersnake Colorburst Buttersnake
Mottled Buttersnake Ultimate Buttersnake
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Buttersnakes
They all give me Garter Snake vibes, but the comically large eyes could be inspired by the Blunt-Headed Tree Snake.
Sunset Buttersnake Velvet Buttersnake
Bottlesnake
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Rosaline Strangler Buttercup Strangler
Frosttangle Strangler Deadwood Strangler
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Stranglers
The name "stranger" implies they are constrictors, so there could be some influence from Green Tree snakes or Green Tree Pythons. An old staff QnA said that they were originally created by combining the words "vine" and "snake". They don't have the long pointed nose like real vine snakes though.
Desert Strangler Prickly Strangler
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Tricolor Viperpillar Gaboon Viperpillar
Hornworm Viperpillar Watchful Viperpillar
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Viperpillars
Inspired by the members of the "Bitis" genus of Vipers, mainly the Gaboon Viper and Rhino Viper. Watchful Viperpillar and Hornworm Viperpillar may also have taken influence from the Arabian Horned Viper.
Spined Cobra Maned Cobra
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Cobras
Could be based on King Cobras since they're most widly known, or possibly Forest Cobras, the largest true cobra species.
Serpentine Lamp
Ultramel Amphithere Ringlet Amphithere
Ruffled Serpent
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Amphitheres
Corn snakes, Definetly.
Bladed Boa Serrated Snake
Regal Bladebearer
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Bladed Snakes
Unsure, but my gut is telling me King snakes.
Shadow Serpent Shattered Serpent
Spirit of Wind
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
other
Based on the descriptions, Shattered Serpent and Shadow Serpent could be based on Banded Sand Snakes or the Sahara Sand Viper.

I'm not sure for Spirit of Wind, but my best guess is there's influence from Flying Snakes. because... wind.
