Biography

Xae'ry
• Electrified Archivist

Humble Tea Tray Intact Parchment
Cerith Shell Clattercog Engineer
Aged Tome
"Hello!! Welcome!!" The jubilant Aether bellowed. You, are standing in the clan archives. Can I help you? Direct you? Show you some of our family photos, maybe? Interest you in a refreshment? You know, I could write down that you visited. It's technically a clan event. You can be a part of this magnificent place too!" His words echoed, off of the cylindrical walls, that expanded far, far above the two of you, flanked by an endless concentric circle of stairwells and landings.

"Have you met my wife? She looks just like me, but more beautiful! Her eyes! They are like daylight! And she- she is like a monsoon. If you have a question that does not have to do with the clan, you should ask her! She keeps the clan's books!"

Wayward Beginnings
The young Aether sat shivering, dripping, and defeated, watching the rain fall from inside

The Archivists Cerith
In the comforting cradle of a concentric labyrinth of archives, Xae'ry's Brood would spend their formative moments. Laughter echoing off of meticulously organized shelves. Misadventurous Deeds illuminated by well tended lanterns, and clumsy attempts at flight disrupting the dust densely blanketing the long undisturbed tomes, with history none realized they'd forgotten. His younglings would grow up under the keen eyes of Cay Lumina's meticulous Arch Librarian and the ever jubilant Grand Archivist, himself.

The hatchlings moved up the winding swirling stairwell like an amateurish phalanx, eyes darting from hazardless hall to hazardless hall. Each landing as uneventful as the last, to any other eyes but their own. If you were to hear the whispers intertwined with hushed purrs and growls, held tight between the outstretched wing covers and tiny tail wall, you'd know that they'd concocted an epic of their own design in the uneventful, sunlit stairwell. 12 glass panes made up the skylight on the stairwell above them, projecting the colors onto the stairwell below, with 12 colors to correspond with a boon or bane of their own design. Cobalt seas, rivers, streams. Orange oceans of lava. Cadmium glades friendly and cool. Ruby wretched badlands with festering rot, with ever more than could be described. All of which the group treaded in their own, close-knit way. Jumping over steps, dodging shelves-grabbing favorite volumes and discarded snacks like life sustaining supplies on their journey. Until, after-what really could have been hours, but Noone was actually watching the great sundial now storeys below the archival towers, the party consumed with the floor and not their front, bounded- wings first into the chest mammoth-sized mass of-fluff, that they called "Father"

The jovial beast let loose a sonorous roar, playfully, before dissolving into laughter at the sight of his brood becoming so suddenly disorganized, at his clearly unanticipated arrival. He looked them up and down, at the juvenile's treasures strewn down the section of stairwell behind them, and took in the haphazard adventure party's inquisitive gaze.

The jubilant obstruction answered their glances with a wide-six legged fighting stance, and zaps at the railing like they were tesla coils. "Adventurers" he bellowed, "You've reached your end, face me and know your folly" the dumbstruck group snapped out of their daze, rapidly resuming their clumsy formation while crying a shrill, joyful "charge!!" At the unmoving mass before them, breaking formation to tackle their father from five angles, hanging onto wing, tail and fluff as well as they could. Underneath the downy onslaught, he collapsed. His unimpressive facade would give a thespian secondhand embarrassment if it weren't so well-intended.

A new set of massive wings interjected, cutting the revue short, earning fearful glances from six would be preformers. Bringing up the mess of treasures still strewn down the stairs, she landed, and took in the silly sight. Her eyes darted to the five hatchlings. Stifling a chuckle and turning a near grin back into a stiff lip, the matron spoke. "Lumina Rupes is lost on you, yet." She clicked her tongue at them. "The bells have tolled, and the sun is low, the shadowbringer will walk s-" "grrrooooroo" a growl, emanating not from a mouth, but a stomach interrupted her words, but proved her point better than any scolding could. She finally let herself smile at the sight, and nodded. "Yes. It's time to eat." The hatchlings clumsily glided down the center of the tower, jumping from landing to landing, forms casting shadows in the late afternoon light, flapping their wings rhythmlessly, each intending to make it back to the family quarters to clean up first, and by extension, eat first.
"Another quiet day in the archives, then?" She asked her still beaming husband, as he collected himself "Quiet??" "Arguably so, but they're the most fascinating stories here, by quite a long shot"
