It was cold, which I know what your thinking it is to be expected when you live in the arctic but this was a different kind of cold. the empty and alone type of cold, one that no amount of heat can cure. As I lay here I cant help wonder how did this happen? well it started on a normal day just like any other my siblings where playing with my mom and me and my dad where out hunting. I was on my way back by myself because my dad had flown on ahead to bring back what he had hunted.


I could have gone with him but I wanted to do more hunting. just then a blizzard hit I could only see 3 tail lengths ahead of me. I quickly landed and used my ice powers to build a small hut to wait out the storm. A little while later I heard a small shivering sound coming from the entrance. i looked and i saw a baby chill river bucktooth they where supposed to be exceedingly rare. this one looked to be a baby it was weak and hungry so i gave it some of the oak roots that i found earlier. well one thing led to another and we became friends i told him that we had to get going because there was a city we needed to visit. i could not bring him so i left him in the igloo i would come back for him when i was done. As i flew away i could not help thinking that something was wrong. i walked into my house and my heart stopped my family was laying at my feet dead. it took all i had not to cry and rush to them. as i looked around i realized there was another dragon a beautiful jasmine colored one. she was standing in the corner looking at me. she took a step forward stepping over my family doing so. i noticed something glinted in her belt it was a dagger she did this.


"why?" was all that would come out of me. "because pain is the best teacher and i intend to teach you", she said. something hot flashed in me and all i saw was read i wanted to run that dagger through the she dragon. "what is your name?" i asked she replied almost instantly "jasmine" she spoke softly then she took flight. should i follow her? in the end i came to a conclusion there was no point to sit here and morn though that is what i desperately wanted. i took flight right after her she didn't wait for me but i could see her bright blue scales in the sky so i easily caught up with her.


we had been flying for a while i thought my wings where going to fall off but then jasmine landed on a cliff ledge that over look the forest.
