Valentine Determined | Sweet | Caring |
"I don't think you should give up that easily. Your story's barely started!"
About:
Skilled and sharp-witted, Valentine was born into a hard life. She wanted to rise to the top and live a comfortable life, but all doors seemed to close for her. But despite everything life threw her way, her heart didn’t allow her to give in to sadness. With the small amount of money she had, she opened a small chocolate stand that quickly rose in popularity. She wasn’t rich and there were still nights where she went to sleep with an empty belly, but she was happy with the small community that supported her.
One day, royal dragons came to visit her town. She wasn’t exactly sure what they wanted in such a humble place, but what she did know is that she did something to catch the attention of one of them, Orchid. Through small talk, Valentine found out that the spiral was the Queen’s royal stylist and that he was looking for inspiration for his new collection. With a smile, she offered him one of her many chocolates. And like the gentledragon he was, he accepted. Orchid was surprised that chocolates of such high quality were being sold in such a small street stand. Orchid then invited Valentine to go with him to Luminax. Valentine was thrilled by the offer and eagerly accepted, taking her supplies with her. Orchid offered Valentine a place to re-start her business, and before she knew it, it was the most popular candy store in town. As time went on, Orchid asked if she wanted to live in the palace with him and become his assistant. Valentine was hesitant at first—she was never a stylist nor was she good at sewing. But Orchid insisted that she was the only one he wanted by his side, so she accepted. Adapting to royal life was difficult, but Orchid was kind enough to offer her private etiquette classes so she could have a good head start. Valentine felt lonely in the palace. All dragons did everything in their power to keep to themselves, hiding their true selves behind politeness. The only dragon who was the least bit honest with Valentine was Orchid. With time, the two became close friends and eventually she grew feelings for the spiral of which she was afraid he would deny. Being a stylist was more fun than Valentine could have imagined, and she had a better grasp on color matching than she thought. Orchid appreciated her help and the two were inseparable. Her chocolate store was entrusted to a new team of which she visits every week and she is proud of their work. Now, the obelisk is living a love story of which everyone knows she is a part of (but she has yet to figure that out). |

RELATIONSHIPS
ORCHID | crush Valentine maybe kinda likes Orchid. But just maybe. Yes, he is nice and caring and kind and he makes her heart skip a beat but they're just friends. Yes, certainly. |
CHERIMOYA | friend Valentine has the most patience with Cherimoya and doesn't judge her for her disability. And Cherimoya doesn't treat Valentine as lesser because of her upbringing. The two are nice friends. |
