Biography
![](/rendern/portraits/817912/81791111p.png)
Cranburry is the king of first impressions, as everyone who meets him comes to the same conclusion- That this dragon has the most bizarre accent ever heard. Oh, and that he's shifty beyond belief. Just one utterance of "Good evenin', my friend! Fine mornin' fer a shoppin' trip, ey?" should be enough to convince anyone of that.
He always enjoys a good deal or wager, greeting everyone with a sleazy smile and a tip of the hat, but good luck getting any information without a price. He is a businessman through and through, even though his wares change by the month and his prices vary by dragon, and bartering with this Mirror is tougher than teaching a Ridgeback how to swim. The glinting of his gold fang and the shiny golden rings in his crests and wings show off just a hint of the wealth his dealings have accumulated, but these are all you will get in terms of showing off. He takes pride in his trade as a merchant, and insulting that pride is the quickest way to get on his ban list.
He treats every situation, no matter how dire, with the same calm, unbothered demeanor, almost as if to him, nothing is wrong. But funnily enough, underneath the casual quips and tricky fingers, he might be one of the more trustworthy dragons around. He never leaves a job unfinished, as although his methods seem lackluster, they are simply a prelude to further nighttime investigations. His sharp intelligence is hidden by his lackadaisical attitude almost too well, causing almost everyone around him to vastly underestimate his abilities.
The most mysterious aspect of Cranburry is his honor code, one that he will never break— even if it gets him killed. What this code entails is a mystery to everyone but him, but the few rules others have been able to parse from his actions paint a clear picture: That for all his lazy attitude, you could not find a more dedicated merchant. Just the mention of doing business will pique his interest, even drop his guard if the other has ill intentions. You could say his passion for buying and selling is also his greatest weakness.
So Cranburry is here to make money, and as such, will not discriminate in who he sells to. Whether this is good or bad varies on the customer, and you can bet all your gems that he's not going to leave his stall unless every pouch in his luggage is bulging with treasure. He has a four-year sales streak going, and he's not looking to break it any time soon. Potential customers are always welcome to peruse his wares!
Oh, but don't mention him to Smolder. If you value your wallet and your life.
