LadyPantsPier

LadyPantsPier was not always her name. Lady PantsBoardwalk was her name while living as Lady of house PantsBoardwalk, but this was never what she wanted. Every day, she would look out over the boardwalk of house PantsBoardwalk at the ocean. She would watch the ships sailing over the horizon and long within her heart to be out there. Alas, it was forbidden for her to venture her home. It wasn't until one particularly cold and dark night that an opportunity presented itself to her, in the form of a pirate captain.
House PantsBoardwalk was attacked. The house was in chaos as a crew of pirates came in the night, knowing of the riches hiding within the building. The valuables were stolen and the guards were slain swiftly, yet brutally. Amidst the furor, the lady of the house was calm. She strode to the boardwalk, figuring she was to be killed that night. There was no moon, but the flames of the house behind her cast enough light for the lady to safely make her way there. The flames, however, were not enough light for her to see the pirate captain waiting in the dark.

"If you're going to kill me at least let my body rest in the sea," Lady PantsBoardwalk said to the captain.
"I had no intentions of doing so." The captain stepped up next to her. "As me and my crew had been watching the house, I had been watching you. The way you look out over the sea, it reminds me of how I looked over it as a lass."
The captain paused, but Lady PantsBoardwalk didn't speak.
"I want you to join my crew. I know you can be something amazing with the right work. You'd want that, wouldn't you? Don't try to deny it."
Lady PantsBoardwalk took a deep breath, thinking about what to say. This was the opportunity she had been waiting for, so what was stopping her? Her house? Not anymore. It was time to move on.
"Okay," she said to the captain. "I'll join you."
"YARG!" And the two dragons fell into a deep, passionate kiss. No longer bound by land, Lady PantsBoardwalk changed her name to LadyPantsPier and lived happily on the sea.
