That is not my place.

She knew very little of her direct family. Within only weeks of her hatching, it seemed as though the fate of her and her siblings were mostly sealed. Out of her four other siblings, only one had not left the comfort of their mother's side to serve directly under the Icewarden. In time, even their father went to join his children, leaving the trio to fend for themselves in the frozen wastes of the Icefields. In time however, it was eventually her turn to leave, though not for the same reason as the rest of her family. She sought adventure, and while she found very little adventure in the long run, what she did find was the very last thing she could have expected.

Seemingly lost in the middle of the wastes, an almost painfully small clan of misfit dragons, headed by a deep violet eyed Guardian that loomed over her and the rest of the clan with a watchful gaze. Scars littered his body, and heavy armor clicked and clanged against his scales with every move he made. He was quite the sight, she would admit.

She found herself lingering with the clan for some time, questioning the lot as to why they were in the Icefields. She found herself spending the majority of her time alongside the clan's leader, teaching him about the area, leading the hungry clan to food and, in time, helping them find a decent enough temporary holdout to call their own. As more time went on, she found herself staying with the clan, joining them in more ways than one.
