Skydancers of the Earth variety are vastly different than their Wind cousins. Most Skydancers living in Dragonhome choose to remain earth-bound most of their time, choosing instead to map ancient ley lines and uncover secrets in ancient tombs. Their sensitivity to magical energies makes these tasks very easy, and helps them not to disturb the slumbering skeletal wyrms. The Skydancers living in this harsh region choose to nest near the borders (where food is plentiful), or deep underground where water is less scarce and subterranean plants can be grown. Since flight amongst this branch is less common, it is not uncommon to see Skydancers here sporting crystalline feathers, and those with high magical aptitude often have crystals growing from their bodies (Crystalhide items)
