The forest's eternal heart beats ever so slowly, buried in its deepest, darkests parts. Thogh not one ray of sun is able to pierce the centures-old umbrage, a source of light emerges once more to shine within the green depths - an eye of the beast. One eye of many.

It is wildly speculated who was the first being to ever live in The Woods, with Mirth being one of the most faithful candidates. Rumors sung from one birdthroat to another spread the tale of his awakening through bushes and trees old and wise.

Mirth was - and hopefully still is - supposed to be the ancient source of life that, along with several other beacons, sustained and ensured the peaceful growth of The Woods with magical energy. The process has occured without his conscious presence, with merely his dreams affecting the reality of the growing forest - crafting the harmony between magic and nature, conjoining the two forces to create and feed all life and slowly spin its fate.

However, he has recently stopped dreaming and came back to his consciousness - no one is sure why that is, not even him. Not one thing has gone wrong or collapsed since his awakening, apart from a few rotten trees, that is. Hopefully it stays that way.
