Gulpereel isn't the most experienced at being a dragon. For most of their life, they weren't even a dragon at all. They lived in the deepest depths of the ocean where the light could never reach, the weight of the water above keeping them in place. However, she had heard of sunlight and forests and dragons from passing fish who had made their way down from the surface, and she wished to see it for herself; to roam the bright world of the dragons where everything seemed so lively and beautiful. One day, his wish came true, and they morphed into a dragon, rising to the surface to begin their new life. Although he had no idea how to live on the surface, he was found by a tundra dragon named Starry, who helped him learn how to be a dragon.

Gulpereel is friendly and welcoming, always ready to help another dragon in need. She is unable to speak, and instead use a dragon version of sign language, as well as written language. They can be clumsy and naive, but they are eager to learn and will work to fix any mistakes they make. Now that he lives in this world he used to only dream about, she wants to know and experience everything she can.

They're still figuring out what they want to do with the rest of their life, but in the meantime, they do odd jobs to help those within the clan, as well as those outside it. He also is sure to greet any newcomers, happy to see new faces in the clan.
