_Talk about legends on the battlefield is common. Talk about the legends that stay is rare. And this legend is about the Rook. When he comes to the war places, the storm and death seekers shrieking his presence, dragons and beasts lay down their weapons and flee. He speaks with the voice of calamity, using words beyond understanding.

“There updog in here?”

Any who approach are cut down, either from confusion or his own weapons. The Rook is a creature beyond our comprehension, and conversation is proven to be impossible. Even listening to his insanity drives nearby creatures to madness.

“Fax, no printer. Don't @/me tho.”

The only dragons capable of communication are of his own clan, and a select few outsiders. Beware this dragon, and should you ever see him, plug your ears and run.

_There would be a reason. Perhaps when he was younger, some strange, otherworldly occurance happened when he hatched, causing him to only speak horrifying nonsense. Perhaps he was a social experiment, taken from his parents as an egg. Or perhaps there is no special reason, and he is only the way he is because he is. Who could say? He won't tell you, even if you could divine it from his speech.

In this way, he has become something of an enigma. Many dragons have tried to discern his existence, his reasons for living, but none have come to any conclusion. And with speech being impossible, well... To research the Rook is a hobby, and no-one expects to get very far.
