Biography

Moonlight Grotto Subspecies


The ancient Moonlight Grotto are a subspecies of cave dwelling Aberrations & Veilspuns, who exist in harmony with the lunar phases and live through the guidance of the moon. The caves they reside in are vast and mysterious, containing many secrets... the echoes of legends and myths.

Their name comes from the sacred rituals that they do under the moonlight within the main chamber of the caves, which has openings to the sky that are aligned with the moons positions during specific times for certian events.

They avoid sunlight and only come near the surface during the night, never fully leaving the caves. Due to this, their physical apperance evolved over long periods of time to express web-like patterns, with most of their colours fading except pink, which is how they get their greyscale & pink colours. Their tertiary genes are also representative of their evolution within the dark caves.
