PearlStream and OpalShine ran away to be together.

Their clans had been fighting for years, the hyena's mostly just trying to scrap out an existence being the persistence creatures they are and the dragons beyond furious another predator would be in there land. PearlSteam had crashed into a swamp after a fight with an elder. Opalshine found her injured and unconscious. Being an exiled healer from her old clan she got to work and patched her up with healing moss and kelp. PearlStream was confused by the kindness when she awoke as both her clan and the hyena's clan saw kindness as weakness.
They began to bond while PearlSteam was healing and found they enjoyed each others company far more then anyone from their respective clans. This was what spurred them to leave, after to many close calls with the dragons of PearlStreams clan and the swamp being very limited in food and shelter they headed out to find somewhere they could be together.
