Hemlock the coatl is famously known around the Arashi Kingdom for his impressive hunting skills. Ever since he was a young dragonet, he had been able to kill more prey then even the Kingdom's most experience hunters. And Hemlock's skill only increased as he grew older, he began easily hunting prey such as deer, rabbits, foxes, and even wolves, bringing home more prey than most of the other kingdom's hunters. His ability as a hunter only became more famous when Hemlock decided he was bored of hunting small, easy prey. Before long, young Hemlock decided he wanted to hunt bigger and more challenging prey. He began hunting things such as hippogriffs, dryads, even viperpillars. Hemlock became truly famous when one day a pesky gigantic roc began terrorizing the Arashi Kingdom's citizens. The roc had stolen prey, terrorized citizens and even killed four dragons. All attempts of killing or scaring away the roc had failed, only making the beast angrier. Hemlock quickly sprung into action, with his trusty bow and arrow and his quick wit, he was able to take down the large beast. King Aokean and Queen Luna thanked Hemlock personally for taking down the giant bird, and he had a feast thrown in his honor. During this feast, he had met the young Princess Nikki, a sassy and confident coatl unlike any he had ever met before. He was intrigued by this new dragon, and even though Nikki didn't seem to return the same feelings at first, he found himself liking her and made a great effort to visit the palace to visit her whenever possible. |
