Baldur

Baldur is a somewhat clueless but beloved Imperial dragon. He thinks of himself as a beautiful genius, mostly because he's been told he's smart and sexy for his whole life, but in reality he's something of a bungler who tends to get into scrapes that almost always wind up covering him in mud. Sigyn is the only dragon who doesn't get annoyed with him, and as a result she's one of his closest friends. Strangely enough, he also is quite close to Jormungandr, as he takes her biting criticisms very seriously, and her sharp words prove to be fuel for him to drive himself into improving his mind and body. He's very much a perfectionist who thinks that any failure will drive him into the deepest depths of hell, and as a result sometimes winds up burning himself out while striving towards a near-godlike image. Occasionally winds up passing out from exhaustion, as he's obsessed with exercising and has apparently never learned the meaning of the word 'moderation'. Despite the fact that everyone else tends to be exasperated with his behavior, his sweet cluelessness and occasional bouts of clumsiness make him very endearing to the clan. The only one who doesn't seem to like him is Thor, but then again Thor, along with Jormungandr, is one of the more sassy and snippy dragons in the clan. Baldur's constant companion is a mellow, cuddly Smoky Bantam Fangar named Nightshade-Baldur often takes to cuddling Nightshade during moments of stress, despite the fur that Nightshade constantly gets all over him.
