Regal has been the self-appointed queen of everything since he was old enough to hold a lipstick tube and a hand mirror, and he's been parading about as if he owns the world ever since.

He makes a point to dazzle everyone that he meets, each and every time that he does; not a single hair is out of place, not one move or line is unrehearsed, and his face always glows, he makes sure of that.

True, he's had to add another layer of makeup every year or so, but that's fine.

It's fine.

Everything is fine.

And lately, while it's been a bit harder to keep the attention on him, that doesn't mean he's giving up. The world can pry the spotlight from his cold, dead claws.

His legacy of beauty is eternal, or at least, the town will be trying to scrub the glitter out for years and never quite be rid of it.
