Origin of a unique Plague spread by contact with his blood. Reacts on touch. His saliva and other excretions operates similarly but are less potent. Cursed, this blademaster keeps ten gilded rapiers on him at all times. He's skilled in throwing, dueling, and dancing, but if these don't earn him his quarry he pierces his flesh with the blade. Now envenomated, a single cut is enough to infect the victim. Akin to fast-acting komodo dragon venom, it seeps the energy and magic of the victim until they can barely move.

This makes him a natural vampire repellent. One whiff of his off-natured blood and they'll keep their distance. This practicality is why Anios was enlisted under Dionysus for Subterra. His presence keeps away the standard feral vampires that rule the darker parts of the Shrieking Wilds. Many of the vampiric prisoners inside Subterra's aqueduct system are thanks to him.

Branded as a cursed child by his parents and their clan, he was left alone to die. His blood defended him from being eaten thanks to its toxicity (though he's had some close calls). Scavenging his way into adulthood, he's a bitter, emotionally closed off dragon who's just a tiny scared hatchling on the inside. He's content with his current life as a live-in guard for Panthera Militia's Subterra subclan.
