A delicate musical chime announces the arrival of a lovely pair of new customers, they enter the shop along with a whoosh of cool air. Popular all season long, most visit Sornieth Shave Ice in their off season for their Spiced Indulgences; piping hot beverages to warm your spirit and your claws. In the cooler seasons most are huddled close, enjoying their treats and toddies, while the fireplace crackles and keeps them cozy. The atmosphere is busy, and the shop owner, with her happy smile, mixes her creations with flavorful colored syrups and sometimes a dollop of freshly whipped cream (sometimes two dollops). It is the most popular venue in the lair, and it is frequented by many denizens of the Fortress of Ends. Tonight a couple of dragons, Tvistjarna and Prettur, are peering into the counter area, requesting a special treat; Sugar Crystals on hot tea, a nice and hot beverage with flavors of Sweet Syrups, with hints of Vanilla. They watch the spectacle of its production with eager anticipation, and wait patiently for the call, “Orders Up!”.  more infoPrettur met Tvistjarna one afternoon as she was tending to the general store for the clan. Prettur, planning to leave shortly after his arrival, was intending to steal a few items and be on his way. However, Tvistjarna’s overly helpful attitude kept him on his toes, as she followed him happily chirping out her ‘assistance’ over the various items available for purchase. By the end of the visit she had managed not only to obtain full payment, but also an afternoon tea! How had she done this?! Ever since Prettur has been engaged with Tvistjarna in one way or another, and typically is left unsure of how the arrangement had ended wherever she had led him! Offspring from this pair are fun loving and friendly, usually helpful to a fault. They may tend to tell stories that have no ending. |
