Abyss is the leader of the Lanternlight Clan, alongside his mate, Swampgrass; the two of them founded the clan and now work to ensure it remains strong and united. He's also a skilled hunter and devoted, loving father.
Abyss is the de facto leader of the clan as well as its most seasoned warrior. Orphaned at a young age, he was raised as part of a large pack of other mirror dragons, but ended up leaving the pack when he met Swampgrass, with whom he fell in love at first sight. Like him, she was a water dragon, and so they both agreed to settle down in the Tsunami Flats. Ultimately, however, the clan decided, by way of a vote, to join the Light Flight instead, a decision which was met with almost unanimous approval. The clan then changed its name from the Clan of Morning Mist to the Lanternlight Clan, a name it's borne ever since. In addition to his role as leader, Abyss is also one of the clan's main hunters as well as a member of the coliseum team. He has lightning-fast reflexes and keen senses, making him perfect for the job, and like many mirrors he can be a deadly predator or a vicious fighter when he wants to be. The bioluminescent light on his head is no hindrance either; he can turn it on and off at will. His glowing claws are more of an issue, but he's skilled enough that they don't get in his way. |
