Rather knew nothing before Rohul. They were two halves of a whole being, one who was too different and strange to remain one. Rather represents the chaotic good, while Rohul represents the true neutral. Sometimes, the two feel the pull of what may be a third...

"Rohul?" Rather's voice was barely a squeak, but the other dragon raised their head to look at them.

"You had the dream too?" Their pale green eyes glimmered in the darkness, their chest rumbling with their words. "Don't worry, they can't hurt us now. The dreams are only memories." They wrapped their arms around Rather, and in response they pressed their face into Rohul's thick mane.

"I know. It still hurts to think about. I'm glad we're here now." They inhaled deeply, fur tickling their nose and muffling their voice. Rohul chuckled softly, the rolling sound comforting.

"You don't need to tell me that. I know already." Their chin rested on top of Rather's head as they spoke. Indignant, Rather pulled their nose out of Rohul's fur to press it against their offending chin.

"Yeah, well, it's still nice to say it. You're better at feeling what I think than I am anyways." All they got was a snort in response, and Rohul bumped their nose against Rather's.

"Go to sleep, love."
