Ynyr and his older sister, Teleri, both hail from the shadow matriarch Seebori's clan. As hatchlings and in their younger years, the pair were rambunctious and curious, loving to explore the thin, twisted woods that made up their home lands.

The siblings found a welcome home amongst Seranus and her clan of flighty fools. Though sometimes their clanmate's incessant frivolity proves too much to be around for these shadow siblings. During these times, the pair will abscond from the lair for weeks on end to hunt and be lost amongst the dense shadowed jungles of the Gladekeeper, free from jingling bells, ringing laughter, and insufferable puns.

When they return from their hunts, they are greeted with cheers, warm hugs, and almost always a new ballad composed in their honor by the clan's most accomplished bard; Sourberry. While the mirror siblings absolutely need their solitary sojourn, they could not imagine a life wholly bereft of this bizarre band of jesters. It is their pleasure to supply food for the clan which has so warmly accepted them.
