History

Addavar was orphaned at a very young age. As a result, has no memory of his parents or potential siblings he may have had. While on his own, he almost starved. The only reason he survived was that he was taken in by his old clan. His old clan leader forced him into "servitude", or at least that was what they called it. If he were to ever try and leave the influence of the clan leader, he would most likely be hunted and killed. The clan leader mistreated all of his servants; he physically and verbally abused them. Addavar has scarring from some of the times he made the clan leader angry. To put it simply, his life was miserable.

Until he had a chance encounter with the clan leader's daughter, Kamrin. Since their first meeting, they were fascinated with each other. They would frequently meet up in secret. Over the course of these meetings, they became close friends and eventually fell in love.

During one of their escapades, Kamrin's father caught them. He was infuriated and tried to kill Addavar. The pair fled from the clan and never looked back. They traveled for a long time, kind of looking for Kamrin's Charge, but mostly looking for a safe place to settle down away from her father's influence.

The Gladekeeper lead them to The Sanctum, an enchanted place that only the Gladekeeper herself could let dragons into, those she deemed worthy. Finally safe within The Sanctum, the pair settled down and started their family.
