Rosa Think's she's better than you | Ambitious | Loves flowers An illegitimate child of a noble family, Rosa and her brothers, Pan and Remedy, grew up as a stain upon their name. She was tolerated because of her mother's insistence, but never truely accepted as one of them. For years she played the part of the demure daughter, as refined and obedient as possible, always striving to be what the family wished of her. Unfortunately their mother was sickly. After she passed away, Rosa's brother Remedy disappeared to take on the life of a traveller, and Pan was quick to follow suit, leaving her alone with a hoard of relatives who continued to pretend she didn't exist. While she tried her best to please them she slowly began to realise she would never attain their affection nor respect. So, she hatched her own plan. Tired of fading into the background, she set her eyes on her own prize. She would meet the prince, charm him thoroughly with her feminine wiles, and marry the heck out of him. Then she would be the one with higher claim. Her family would have no choice but to acknowledge her, and at last, she could take her turn to look down on them. However, while she was working to get closer to the royal family despite her shameful bloodline, she met Iris, and was immediately enchanted by the blind ambassador. This put a spanner in the works, so to speak. Frustrated by her own feelings, Rosa is forced to contemplate what will make her happier - a position of power that will gain her the respect she feels is her due, or a fast paced romance with a woman she's just beginning to understand... Remedy still pops up now and again to visit, and tell her that her plan is stupid anyway, and he is an endless disappointment to her. He's dishevelled, has abandoned all the propriety they were taught, and is obviously meddling with suspicious powers. Also he keeps asking her to leave. Rosa is not the sort to run from her problems though. She has also had a reunion with Pan, who now writes to her frequently. |
