Biography
Extra Information:
Mate: Shinansi
Familiar: firemane Manticore
Familiar’s Name: Mara
Once prone to impulsiveness and violence, Kir has matured into a strong, loving mate to Shinansi and an invaluable asset to the Seven Pillars Sanctuary. He now uses his brute strength to hone the skills of the youngsters gearing up to test their mettle in the Coliseum. While this battle hardened Guardian has insane strength, he is also fairly adept in war strategy and infrastructure. He aids his mate during war meetings and coordinates with the scouts to plan search areas and under cover operations. Kir also makes frequent visits to Sinderse’s blacksmith shop to sit in on infrastructure meetings. He aids planners in finding the best solutions to keep all levels of the massive lair functioning properly and eloquently.

A Chance Encounter
The Guardian crouched low on a hill awaiting his quarry for the evening. A small caravan of Fae and Pearlcatcher merchants frequently passed through delivering supplies to a new lair nearby. The small band of dragons had recently become his favorite raid target because of the weakness of the dragons guarding the caravan. Why struggle to find food when it’s easy pickings steeling from a weak caravan?
Kir turned his head in the direction of a familiar sound. He’d recognize that rickety cart anywhere. As the caravan came into view, he huffed roughly. What is this? The three male Pearlcatchers have adorned themselves with battered armor and have taken up crude defensive positions around the caravan. Hah! Kir thought, snorting to himself. These PUPS think they can deter me with cheap armor and a weak formation?! He flicked his tail irritably and poised to lunge, but stopped short as a young Guardian clad in steelscale armor came into view, traveling a few paces behind the party. A small vein popped on his forehead, They even hired a week little fledgling to defend them! I mean, that male hasn’t even grown any stubble yet!! Unable to take the insult to his pride any longer, Kir crashed down the hill in an angry rage bellowing and rattling his scale plates along the way. He would show that weak little runt by shredding up its caravan and leaving him for dead!
The Pearlcatchers startled and clambered over each other trying to gain their bearings in an attempt to gather into a defense formation. Pitiful, terrified growls pierced the air shallowly trying to deter the rampaging male Guardian. Their instructions were simple, only engage in battle if “The Rouge,” or so Kir had been dubbed, makes contact with the main caravan. The petrified lead Pearlcatcher cried out for help to their hired companion but when he looked in the direction the dragon was supposed to be, it had disappeared. Panic began to set in until he heard a deafening CRACK!
Just ten feet in front of his position. The guarding Guardian crashed into Kir’s side with a deafening crunch, knocking him off balance. Another well place blow to the head with an electrically charged slash toppled him onto his side. Kir place a few well aimed slashes of his own, enabling him to return to his feet. His regained footing was short-lived however, as the guarding Guardian knocked him back to the ground with a full body tackle. This time Kir was pinned, angry that this week runt had pinned him he thrashed and managed to inflict deep cuts on the other Guardian’s rear legs. The opposing Guardian roared in agony. Kir smirked, “Not so tough now you litt-“ CRASH!!! The guardian landed a shocking swipe to Kir’s temple, rendering him immediately unconscious.

Kir woke with a start.
“Where’s that little brat?!” He snapped, taking in his dark, damp surroundings. As his eyes began to adjust, he realized he was in a cell. He was captured?! That little runt turned him in?! How?? Surely that little thing hadn’t beaten him! He roared angrily, and the walls shook from his mighty bellow. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you!” a small sweet female voice snapped. Kir snorted, “And what makes YOU think I’ll listen?” He whipped his tail, breaking a boulder next to him, shaking the cavern slightly. A small shadow landed gracefully in front of his cell bars, “Keep causing a ruckus and this cavern is likely to collapse.. I have no problem escaping because I am small but you, on the other claw...” her voice trailed away. Kir’s eyes widened in fear, “Y—you can’t be serious?!” his voice much quieter now. “Hikiri, light please.”said the voice. A small yellow orb brightened Kir’s cell, making him squint at the sudden change in brightness. A small light sprite hovered next to a Fae. The Fae introduced herself, “I am Flazenari, Mother of the Seven Pillars Sanctuary. I will NOT tolerate your blatant targeting of my allies’ caravans.” She snapped harshly, “You will pay for the damage you’ve done by working for my builders for two years only because no one was killed! And if you do poorly, I will extend your sentence and let you rot down here in this cell, understood?!” The Fae’s voice echoed slightly, exploding with authority and irritation. He could tell she was serious and found himself cowering away from her ever so slightly. “Y—yes Ma’am...” he muttered halfheartedly, irritated at his own submissive behavior.
Flazenari’s demeanor lightened and she nodded approvingly, “Good. You will start now. I’m placing you under Shinansi’s watch, so don’t try anything funny... Shinansi, come here dear. It’s time for you to take over his watch.” Flazenari turned her head toward a large shadow ten paces back in the cavern. Kir squinted before his jaw dropped slightly in surprise as the Guardian who bested him approached. “Take your helmet off and properly introduce yourself, dear. Try not to be too rough on him, I’m sure he will NOT be and issue anymore...” The Guardian removed its steelscale helmet. “Good evening Rouge. My name is Shinansi, I will be tasked to you under the orders of My Lady.”
Kir jolted upright and smacked his head on a low hanging stalagtight. The Guardian that took him down, was a
