ONCE UPON A TIME
born in a distant land unbeknownst to the struggles that the elysium citadel was currently dealing with, vetanah starts his life as a scribe, a simple soul who loved nothing more than to read and to gift the knowledge that his many books and scriptures could tell him. most thought him crazy, how rewarding could being a scribe be? but to vetanah there was nothing more rewarding in the world. nothing to compare to the immense amount of joy that finding out a new bit of information could bring him, and he was all the more happy for it in the end. when he grew and moved away from his home, he brought his skills with him, educating who he could and sending them on their way to educate more, when he eventually stumbled upon the elysium citadel roughly one hundred years ago. if you ask him, the details of becoming king are quite hazy, but he does know that his wife atameri is the one who's truly running the kingdom, in everything that she does (except maybe for the official documents, his heritage as a scribe comes in handy when penning other dignities from other lands). he loves her with all of his being, and will conquer planets for her if she so desired.their daughter, while not a biological child of theirs, is still the light of his life, and he dotes on her constantly, buys her anything that she desires and more. their name choice, while scandalous, is a name of power the two royals agreed upon. illydia would grow to rule the city some day, the opal throne would be hers, and nothing could stop her. |
