Biography
PROTAGONIST 1
A young drake aspiring to be a detective finds himself in the midst of a city-wide mystery. Without much introduction to his new world, he has to adjust to the largest case known to dragonkind- and potentially the most dangerous.
Darwin is a distracted dragon. You'll always find him multitasking with multiple scrolls and readings at once.
He's always found himself fascinated by solving mysteries and the stories that come with them- aspiring to become one of the heroes he looks up to.
Unfortunately for him, he's bitten off a bit more than he can chew with the most recent case- one murder turning out to be tied into a huge case.
While Darwin is friendly, he sometimes becomes overexcited about his own problems and interests, shutting out anyone else who tries to strike up conversation. On other occasions, he'll be the sweetest drake you've ever met, albeit a bit ambitious.
During his first case, he met Ianna, a quiet and fast thinking dragon who's main goal is to keep Darwin out of trouble. He thinks she's quite neat!

Talonburne was a huge, bustling city sprawling across various islands, scattered behind the earth territories. Among the towering buildings was a tiny, starry-eyed hatchling, trotting between the adults without a care in the world. The tundra toddled through the streets and paused at every opportunity to glance through the shop windows and gaze at all of the foreign objects she saw. As the tundra stopped to gape at a particularly odd item, a huge guardian with blackened scales drew up beside them.
There was a squeak, claws over the poor hatchling's muzzle as they were pulled into the nearest alleyway, never to be seen again.
That was 12 years ago.
The only unsolved kidnapping that city had ever experienced, and the most difficult to trace.
And by god was Darwin gonna solve it.
He had his muzzle shoved towards the ground, sniffing for any trace of blood, any trace of hatchlings- Of course, he ended up bumping into many disgruntled parents, and a few angry children, but all of it would be worth it if-
"What are you doing?"
A gruff voice cut into his thoughts, as darwin glanced upwards, only to be met face to face with a ridgeback. Tall, imposing, and threatening.
But that was fine, because his eyes went starry and wide the second he laid eyes upon the ridgeback.
"..A..Are you..?"-
"Detective Eadwig, yes. Now answer."
"Solving mysteries sir, my duty, sir!" He said, perking up. "Nothing better than a great mystery, sir!"
Eadwig sighed, holding his talons over his muzzle. "..Oh my god."
"What, sir?"
"I respond to a complaint about suspicious activity and it's a fan.. Of course, as I should have expected."
