Biography

i just made this but already gotta re-do. didn't come out how i wanted

Born a tundra in the Gladeveins of the Viridian Labyrinth, Rua grew up despising her thick fur coat for how soggy it got when the area flooded. As she reached adulthood, she quickly became fed up with being unable to properly fly without being weighed down by extra water weight. Eventually, her travels led her to the Ashfall Waste where, while way too hot for a tundra such as herself, her fur would quickly dry out. This is where she first saw Spev.

He was gliding and doing acrobatics in the warm drafts of air. For a few days, Rua would watch him. She couldn't help but envy how graceful he was in the air, and was compelled to try and meet him. The only trouble was that he would only ever land in the ravine, which was difficult for her to reach without appearing to be clumsy- she wanted to appear as graceful to him as he was to her. So she decided, with no hesitation, to shed her shaggy tundra form for that of the sleek and agile banescale.

After achieving her new form, she immediately headed to the ravine and attempted flight. Oh, what a mistake that was. Having not practiced with her large new wings, she was barely able to remain aloft, and clumsily drifted to one of the cliff's ledges. Spev witnessed this, and helped her learn to fly- the rest is history. The pair became fast friends and eventually mates.

Within the flock, she acts as Spev's second-in-command. It is near impossible to pry her away from Spev's side (unless he is busy of course).
