- - - ▢ Personality and Role
Spark is energetic and often overconfident. She is never unsure of her abilities, and brings about an air of strength and superiority with her whenever she goes. She's not rude about it, it's just natural to her. Thus, it's only natural that she is of the Sentinel Order. Justice is a tiny bit jealous that she is no longer the only Sentinel in the Caravan, but other than that has shown a large indifference towards Spark. Spark, like Justice, also has an Overseer mate, Demi. Spark makes most of the decisions in the relationship, sometimes impulsive ones, but the two always confer with each other before doing anything that could change their lives forever.

- - - - ▢ History
Spark was born in the Starfall Isles, and similarly to Demi, was sent away to the Southern Icefield on behalf of her home clan to be exalted to the Icewarden. She was even joined by her own parents, who were to receive the same fate as her. Spark surprised everyone when she caught the attention of some visiting Gaolers, Sentries who belonged to a prison and were picking up supplies, when she managed to create pristine weapons completely out of ice. Normally such a thing would be overlooked, but as Spark was Arcane and not Ice, the Gaolers wondered what else she could do. They took her back to the prison after getting permission from the clan, and it was decided that Spark would be staying there. The Sentinel Warden took her under their wing, and began to train her in their ways while also helping Spark discover her true potential. With the guidance of such a high-ranking dragon, it is no wonder that Spark became so strong so quickly. She was soon a respected Sentinel, almost as respected as those naturally born in Ice. Although she was never tasked with guarding the pillar fragment directly, she did get a glimpse of the Icewarden. The Sentinel Warden had taken Spark down to the lowest reaches of the prison, and Spark stared on in wonder as she watched the Icewarden freeze a Horrorbeast of massive proportions. Spark was in awe, and though the glimpse lasted less than a minute, she was giddy with glee. She thought that she would never want to leave the Southern Icefield. That was, until she met Demi. Demi was an unassuming dragon, a Nature Gaoler who did his job quietly and stayed out of trouble. Such a dragon that stayed out of his way shouldn't have caught the eye of Spark, the exact opposite of him, but he did. Spark made an effort to linger around him, and when he took notice, the two began to converse. It took a long while, but the two eventually were bonded in holy matrimony. There was a cordial ceremony, and Demi took upon Spark's last name. They thought that their lives would be changed forever, but they should have never been so daft. In the prisons, dragons of rankings as high as them can't exactly enjoy the same luxuries as those of lower Orders. Trinkets, free time, and families especially. As Demi was not a Sentinel, Spark and he were forbidden to have children. Had she been in any other Order, it would have been allowed, but Sentinels are an exclusive Order. Spark was already a rare exception to their normally strict requirements, there would be no more lenience for a family of hers. Spark and Demi agonized over what to do, lamented over the right choice. Should Spark step down to be with Demi wholly and completely? They could live a childless marriage-- many preferred it, and there was nothing wrong with that-- but Spark and Demi desperately wanted a lineage. Spark would not be able to bear the shame if she stepped down from the Order that had accepted her so lovingly, and so there was only one choice left. The two ran away together. Tears were shed, regrets were had, promises were made, but in the end they found the Caravan. The two joined Fortis in his ranks, able to keep their Orders somewhat officially. Although they will forever miss the family they left behind, at least now they are free to start a new one. Now, they are complete.

"Spark" is not Spark's actual name. Of course, like all Sentinels, she has a Truename and another name, a more casual name that holds no power over her. Only Demi and Fortis know Spark's Truename, but everyone else simply knows her as Spark for the "spark" of energy and life that she always brings into everything she does. Her surname, "Frostshaard", comes from the icy weapons she can summon at will. The first demonstration of her power the Gaolers of the Fortress of Ends ever witnessed, and the reason they decided to take her along with them. Her nickname, "Shuriken", is due to the most oft summoned of her weapons. Shuriken-like blades of ice that can be launched across far distances, and are very, very deadly.

▢ Trivia

Spark is, once again, another example of a Gaoler given unique abilities due to being born of the Arcane element. She can summon weapons made completely of ice, with a function similar to throwing knives and of the shape of the blue markings on her wings. They are sharp, fast, and deadly.
Spark seems to look up to Justice. Although the blue Gaoler largely ignores her, Spark finds it immensely admirable that Justice was tasked with actually watching over the pillar fragment of Ice. It was something she had always hoped to do herself, but for now she's just glad that there's someone else like her. Another excommunicated Sentinel.
Spark and Anastasia became besties almost the moment the Ace trio joined the Caravan. Both are a rather weird mishmash of elements, so it was to be expected. Luckily, the two haven't destroyed anything yet.
