Strange doesn't even begin to describe Misfit. The mysterious Bogsneak doesn't speak much, and on the rare occasion he does, he only says one or two words in a raspy voice. He always appears seemingly out of nowhere, scaring his unfortunate victim. Misfit obeys almost no one, and cares little for ranks. He doesn't really study magic as it comes as naturally to him as breathing.

Misfit and the Captain grew up together as hatchlings, though Misfit is slightly older. The two of them did everything together and even came up with nicknames for themselves, hence "Misfit". The Bogsneak became much more protective of the Captain after the latter was trapped in a cave-in for several hours when they were just hatchlings. Recently, Misfit hasn't seen the Captain in a while and is banned from entering the Captain's lair, leaving him feeling perturbed and furious. He has lately taken to taking out his frustrations on the training dummies, though this usually leaves them as little more than ash.
Misfit's ability to wield a magic unknown makes him a formidable foe. Called "Wild Magic" because of its unpredictability, it mixes elements together in unstable combinations. Together with seemingly endless mana, Misfit is best avoided on the battlefield. The Captain is perhaps the only dragon that Misfit will obey. The odd Bogsneak is viciously protective of the Captain, and anyone foolish enough to harm or insult him will be faced with unbridled wrath. Neptune and Misfit have an unspoken respect for each other because of their similar protectiveness of the Captain, and Misfit will obey Neptune when the situation requires it. He is also highly protective of the hatchlings, and will not hesitate to unleash the full force of his magic on anyone who dares to do them any harm. Other dragons avoid him as best they can, but the hatchlings don't mind him, and often get him to join in their games. |
