Hound is a friendly and tenacious dragon who, together with his mate Amelia, runs a trading post in the Highland Scrub. They choose to specialise in resources that are not readily available in the Shifting Expanse - wood and fresh water are two of their biggest sellers. The pair also run a small inn there for weary desert travellers. It's little more than a collection of yurts, but it provides refuge from the blazing daytime sun and warmth through the cold desert nights.

Hound was once a bold adventurer who travelled across Sornieth in search of excitement and wonder - his large wingspan allows him to take full advantage of thermals and he can soar over vast distances with ease. His accent was a gift from a Shadow clan whom he still visits to this day. It was the friends and connections he made that inspired him to eventually become a trader and bring new and exciting goods to other dragons. Once he met Amelia they both decided to construct a more permanent base of operations.
