ROWAN Occupation: Captain Meet Rowan! Captain of the SHIPS NAME! Rowan had lived on the seas his whole life, his father worked for the navy and believed that a firm hand would mould his son into the man he wanted him to be but really the old fool couldn't have been farther from the truth. Rowan idolized the pirates his father hunted, often speaking to them in their cells below deck, getting told of all the wonderful things a pirate could do which he was never allowed to even think about. One night, Rowan released the pirates from the cells and a fight broke out on his fathers ship. Rowans father ordered him to help in the ordeal, only to be betrayed by his own son with a sword through his back. From there Rowans life of piracy began. The pirates he had freed allowed Rowan to shadow them for several months until Rowan was ready to get a crew of his own. He was handsome, charming, and witty, often winning over the hearts of many who wanted to join his crew. Even when his infamous crew makes port their often able to avade the navy as most civilians are on his side thanks to his "steal from the rich, give to the poor" idealolgy. Rowan fell in love with one of his crew rather early on in his career but the two choose to keep their affair a secret to save his reputation as a fearsome pirate. In recent events, Rowan has learned he is sick and dying but he has chosen not to tell any of the crew as he doesn't want to upset them. He wants one last great adventure before kicking the bucket, he just doesn't know what it might be yet. |
