B I O G R A P H Y

A gift from the sea, she burst from it like a frothing wave and stood upon a small rock to look upon the cool blue sky. The sea spat her out and she took to the sky like a manta ray glides in the water. With her great wings, once used to glide under the waves, she felt the wind beneath them. There she found her home. The Windsinger breathed under her wings and guided her far from the sea.

She found herself higher and higher, and was greeted by foreign dragons that called the highlands their home. When she stood on the land for the first time, she felt uneasy. The plateau was a great hierarchy of lands that only grew upward. The lowest of the highlands, the Steppes, she found was beautiful beyond the sea and the winds much kinder than the harsh waves of her birth.

Would she ever return to the sea, she wondered. Did she care that the deep blue was so far below? Though she had been birthed in the harsh waves of the sea, she found that the free wilds of the wind was more to her liking. She found herself a home among these wind dragons, and soon they would adopt her, happily into a wind clan. Here she would bless the Windsinger with her children, and her children's children for as long as they found a home among the Steppes. Some of her children would find homes in other lands, and some would return to the waves, but she would stay in here in these windy highlands.
