Olla is my custom progen. A sweet lady, and also a scholarly one. While she’s aligned with the lightning element, she never got the chance to harness this innate magic, instead from young she was sent off to the sunbeam ruins to work under top scholars. She studied alongside Fable and Nesteroz. Like most dragons there, who learned unorthodox magics, Olla was no exception, choosing to specialize in the anthropology of the Beastclans, notably those living in the frigid south. She learned of various languages to converse with the different tribes. She spent quite a significant portion of her life researching the creatures that lived there. While dangerous sometimes (and at night there might be tremors and the roar of some unidentified thing lurking in the dark), as long as she stayed in her home-slash-research-facility, she felt safe. By the sofa, reading a book and drinking hot coffee, all that stuff. She was gifted an ice halo to protect her from the cold, and she even manifested weak ice magic herself, which she uses to warm herself up by sapping heat from the outside into her home. She’s seen the terrors locked behind the gaols, the shade touched monsters. Not only were dragons affected but the Beastclan, which meant that the Beastclan were more like dragons that they’d previously thought. They had magic… Then one day she was attacked by one of the shade monsters, infecting her with the shade, and she quickly returned to her homeland of the highland scrub to receive treatment. And there she met Boro. Boro had been there for a cold…but soon they fell in love. |
