Many Plagueborn dragons spend their lives spreading the blight that is their birthright. Tacit, however, is not one of them. This dour and grim warrioress has instead devoted herself to the opposite. A hunter par excellence, her prey is draconian. Any infected dragon brazen enough to leave the Wyrmwound lands square in her crosshairs, and a great many never make it back out.

Rumors abound as to Tacit's origins, very few of them kind. Some claim she's a spirit of wrath turned loose to terrorize the world. Others insist she's a mad thing fit only to be cut down. A small but growing minority tells a different tale- that of a would-be mother dragon seeking vengeance for the clutch she lost. Tacit herself is suspiciously mum about the issue, though her zealous defense of Raven Ridge's hatchlings lends credence to that lattermost theory.

Time and trust have softened the harsher edges of Tacit's persona. Much of the credit for her transformation belongs to Oakhart, her long-time mate. The two share a bond of deep fondness and mutual respect that has done much to heal them both.
