Biography
he/him • 25 • 5'7"• Beekeeper
From the moment his many pairs of eyes opened Apis was said to have been Blessed by the Earthshaker. Blessed in quite which way, though, his teachers struggled to understand. Apis has never had much of an aptitude for books, there are far more interesting things he could be looking at and doing that don't include boring lines on pages. He's always had the somewhat disconcerting habit of looking at you with some of the eyes that are not on his head as well, normally while his head is buried elsewhere. 'Elsewhere' being wherever he can find something sweet, for this boy has a remarkably sweet tooth to go with his very short attention span.
He always seems to be a lot calmer when he's outside in the flower garden. His eyes still dart all over the place, but it's quite clear that he's watching things. Insects, as it turns out. He's fascinated by them; the way they move, the way they interact, just everything about them. He seems to have a remarkable touch with them too - even the nastiest or Sornieth's insects do not seem to be hostile to him. And this, perhaps, is where his Blessing lies.

Those born to the Monastery of the Children of the Earthshaker normally enjoy a happy childhood filled with love and affection. The Order is dedicated to the prime ideals of the Earthshaker - family and history - and those born within it's caves are raised to value both those around them and those that have gone before. Their early days are spent in the Creche, and once they are older they are given an education by the various teachers resident at the Monastery. Most will have spent their evenings and nights with their parents, although those born to the Scouts may also have spent their nights with one of the Creche parents. Most of those born at the Monastery choose to serve the Earthshaker themselves, either directly or by remaining at the Monastery, although some do choose to journey outwards and find their purpose with other Clans.
