Sorina, born of light and knowledge, or so it was thought. She was smart smarter than other dragons and she knew it. She grew up with parents in powerful positions in her old lair hierarchy, unfortunately that lead to them not seeing what there daughter was becoming. She sought a vial of eternal youth so she would never die, she would steal books and scrolls insearch of the cure to death. One day while she was acquiring a scroll from a old dragon tomb that was supposed to have some of the answers she was looking for, “The last piece” to the puzzle. She was smart enough to avoid the traps and solve the riddles until she came to the room where the scroll was held. There was a scale with nothing in it and some carvings on the wall that looked almost scratched in more than carved. “Worth is not defined by actions, but by the weight of ones soul.” Sorina thought about this and then she flew up and placed a single one of her scales on the one end, on the other there was nothing but the scale did not move or tip despite the weight of her Heartscale. Sorina looked up at the word and as her gaze looked over the words they started glow and eerie red color, she looked around in a panic unsure what she had done wrong, noticing that the scale had finally started to tip towards her scale she had placed upon it.
As the scale Tipped further there was a rumbling as the doors leading out shut, in hopeless panic Sorina threw herself at it but, she fell to the floor looking around with fear etched into her pale face. The room began to fill with a sticky red ooze Sorina opened her mouth and started to scream as a drop of liquid splashed in her face and she tasted the sickly flavor of Iron.

Can Dreams Become Reality
Sorina woke up in the Wastes, she looked around confused, Where am I? She licked her lips and tasted something sweet, she flew over to a vat of bubbling liquid near where she lay, looking at the the other dragons who avoided it but one Dragon commanded her attention, She looked up at a large dragon who wore a skull to mask her face as she stirred the bubbling liquid. “Hello Child” the words boomed in Sorina’s head more then in her ears. Sorina gazed at the Maroon flesh of this large Dragon and the bulging Green sores that looked atrocious but Sorina knew better then to offend those of Power, and Power is exactly what this stranger pulsed with. “I have blessed you, young scholar, I have gifted you what you have seeked for many an eras, now I ask that you assist me when I next call upon you. Blessed be young one, enjoy your new Gifts.” Before Sorina could ask anything the Stranger, she later learned to be The Plaguebringer, had vanished leaving Sorina to look at the bubbling pit Plaguemother had been brewing and she looked at her complexion.
